1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the MyRecordsMyHealth mobile application and related web preview experiences operated by My Body Is My Health. MyRecordsMyHealth is part of a broader family of health-focused apps under the same brand, but other apps or services may have their own separate privacy policies.

2. Information the app handles

The app may handle information that you choose to enter or add, including:

• Personal details such as your name, date of birth, address, phone number, blood type, and religious preference
• Emergency contacts
• Health record details such as allergies, medications, medical conditions, procedures, insurance information, and emergency notes
• Images or copies of medical documents you choose to photograph or import
• Local security preferences, such as biometric unlock and auto-lock settings
• Local audit entries showing actions such as edits, exports, and emergency access events

3. How your information is used

Your information is used only to provide the app’s core functions, including:

• Displaying and organizing your health records inside the app
• Allowing you to capture or import document images
• Supporting barcode or QR scanning features for medication entry
• Protecting local access with optional biometric authentication on supported devices
• Generating user-initiated exports so you can copy or email information when you decide to do so
• Maintaining local audit and security settings to improve your control over the app

4. Data storage and processing

MyRecordsMyHealth is intended to store your health record information locally on your device. Based on the current app behavior, the app does not silently upload your health record data to our servers.

On supported devices, the app uses encryption and secure device storage features to help protect sensitive information. If you use a web build or browser preview, local browser-based storage technologies may be used instead of native device storage.

5. Sharing and disclosures

MyRecordsMyHealth does not sell, rent, broker, or silently share your health information.

Your information may leave the app only when you choose to take an action such as:

• Copying an export to your clipboard
• Opening your email app to send a record to a doctor, caregiver, or other recipient
• Using device features such as your photo library, email provider, or clipboard after you initiate that action

Once you choose to share information through another app or service, that third party’s privacy practices will apply to the information you send through it.

6. Permissions and device features

The app may request access to certain device features so it can provide functions you choose to use:

• Camera: to photograph medical documents and to support barcode or QR scanning
• Photo library: to import document images you select
• Biometric authentication: to let you unlock the app locally with Face ID, fingerprint, or similar device-supported methods

Biometric templates are handled by your device operating system and are not provided to MyRecordsMyHealth.

7. Data retention and deletion

Because the app stores health record information locally, your information generally remains on your device until you edit, delete, uninstall, or clear it. If you contact us by email, we may retain your message and contact details for support, security, or legal purposes.

8. Security

We take a privacy-first approach and use safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, including local encryption, secure storage mechanisms, and optional biometric protection on supported devices. No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device, your passcode, and any exports or emails you choose to send.

9. Children’s privacy

MyRecordsMyHealth is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our own servers as part of the current app behavior.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version at the privacy policy URL you provide to users and app stores.
